Tiger Rugby powers up the World Tens Series #TigerRugbyCombines2021
We are excited to announce that the first Tiger Rugby Combine event of 2021 will take place this Saturday March 27th at the IMG Academy in Florida.
The Tiger Rugby Combines, hosted by IMG Academy @imgacademy , provides a pathway for athletes to showcase their talents and abilities. Along with a day of elite training from internationally recognized coaches, the combine also offers athletes the opportunity to be recognized and identified for pro-contracts.
The coaching team are on the look out for both rugby players and cross over athletes from the Collegiate sports programme that have the ability to play rugby at a professional level across 7s, 10s or 15s. You do not require a rugby background to attend, this is a talent ID programme and the coaching team are looking for athletes that have the ability, desire and dedication to make it as a professional.
USA 7s superstar, Perry Baker came through the Tiger Rugby Combine system on his way to competing for the USA on the World Sevens Circuit and the Olympic Games.
Last year Cory Daniel @cory_daniel37 won a contract with SX10 @sx10rugby in the World Tens Series, one of 10 Combine players to do so, having attended as a crossover athlete with a wrestling background.
This Combine also presents an opportunity for outstanding players to potentially earn a contract with a World Tens Series franchise. @worldtensseries
